Acquisition Resource Center Vendor Registration and ARCnet Portal
ARCnet Frequently Asked Questions
  • What is ARCnet?

The ARCnet Portal will enable authorized users to access procurement documentation classified For Official Use Only (FOUO), or Unclassified, using a Department of Defense (DoD) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Certificate on the unclassified internet.

  • What are the advantages to using ARCnet with a PKI certificate?

With a DoD PKI user certificate, ARCnet users will be able to login through the ARCnet portal and have access to Unclassified and FOUO materials via unclassified internet web access. ARCnet users will no longer have to travel to the facility to pick up or review FOUO material that has been released to their company.

Individuals using The ARCnet Portal with a valid PKI Certificate will have access to the following new capabilities:

    • read ARC News
    • review and respond to Market Surveys
    • view any material (Market Surveys, RFPs, etc.) that has been released to your organization that is Unclassified or FOUO

In addition to these new capabilities, ARCnet users will still have access to the current existing capabilities:

    • manage their User Account
    • request an update for their company profile in the ARC Business Registry
    • request a visit to the ARC Facility
    • request a Market Survey
    • request a pick-up of an ARC CD
    • view their company profile in the ARC Business Registry

  • What if I have an ARCnet account and no PKI certificate?

Users with ARCnet accounts that do not have valid DOD PKI certificates will still be able to login to the ARCnet portal. However, they will only have access to the current existing capabilities of the system:

    • manage their User Account
    • request an update for their company profile in the ARC Business Registry
    • request a visit to the ARC Facility
    • request a Market Survey
    • request a pick-up of an ARC CD
    • view their company profile in the ARC Business Registry

  • How can I get an ARCnet Account?

All Registered Points of Contact listed in the ARC Business Registry can request an account for ARCnet. You can point your browser to nsaarc.net and hit the link, login to ARCnet PKI or ARCnet (no PKI) depending on whether or not you have a DoD PKI Certificate, and once there hit the request an account link.
